Somewhere Over The Rainbow

I’m posting this song today…the main reason is that it makes me feel happy, I’ve always loved the song itself, the original made me think of Aaron, and it was recently played at the funeral of a friend…of course, that meant that I wasn’t sure who I was crying for…but its all cathartic.
I heard this version of the song a little while ago….same old story…couldn’t sleep, found myself flicking through TV Channels at 4am…something (or someone) caught my eye on the hallmark channel……..hey, I’m only human! And in my defence…..
But it was actually this version of the song played in the film that made me smile, I just found it beautiful, and now I find myself playing it and smiling.
I’m not sure if it’s the song (somewhere over the rainbow by Israel "Iz" Ka’ano’i Kamakawiwo’ole) the film (Returning Lily) or the actor (Jason Mamoa!) that has me flicking through the Hallmark channel occasionally to see if the film is repeated, but I guess I can listen to the song any time, the film, though okay wasn’t fabulous, but again…I make my point….
I hope you like this as much as I do! The song!!! not the abs!!!

Love the song! My brother-in-law made a video of my daughter Gabby when she was a baby and played this song in the background, so it brings back those sweet memories.

I love that version of Over the Rainbow. The way he sings it makes you feel like you're dreaming and he's actually carrying you over the rainbow.

I absolutely love this version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow! I have it on the playlist on my PC and I think I also may have it on my playlist at myspace. :-)

That's my favorite version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". I keep the CD in my car and listen to it when I need to de-stress!

I totally love your attitude! For some reason, this song brings on a waterfall of tears within the first couple of strums of that little guitar thingy he's playing. It happens everytime I hear this version of the song! I love it anyway!! Oh, and by the way... the hottie was a real bonus!! ... ;)
