Can anyone explain to me WHY those trendy coffee houses have stools that are so high you need a bloody step ladder to get on them and the seat so small, unless you have a size zero backside (which I do not) its like trying to perch your arse on top of a pool cue!!
And god forbid you forget your practically three stories up and try to cross your legs, you somersault of back with a half twist and a pike that's worthy of the Olympics!

Those places are for thoe who have cute perk bottoms and who are young and trendy. Also you need to have loads of money to afford the over priced coffee...

I'd probably need 3 of those stools...another reason to be glad I don't like coffee.

it's so true. and once you finally hoist yourself up there, the table is the size of a dinner plate!

I like my coffee in the morning, but at my table, with my comfy chairs, and my computer! I guess we have a 'coffee' bar in our little town, but we don't go there!

I guess that's one good thing about my little town... no "trendy" places. No mile-high stools.. which is good. I'm so short, I'd NEVER get up there!

Being tall, I never have a problem with the stools, more in the overpriced coffee that doesn't taste that great.
Funny enough, in my neck of the woods, they have couches and big squashy armchairs, but I have seen the tall stools.

Sally--Thank you for your note about Abigail. Our hearts are broken, as you clearly understand. I will pass along your sentiments to Abigail's mommy and daddy, and we are thankful that she is fully healed in Heaven...maybe Aaron can push her on the swings! XXX

LOL I hear ya, I have never understood that either. You would think in a coffee house they would make comfortable seats and those are so far from it.

Ahhh....to be able to afford the coffee in those "trendy coffee houses" lol And of course I have to ask, when have you ever sat on a pool cue that you are able to make the comparison? Hmmmmmm.......

LOL! OH my gosh! You are so right! You forgot to mention that they are so very "comfortable" too! OUCH!
