There is something quite barbaric about dentists isn't there???

I have just got back from the hospital, I have had 2 teeth out. I am not feeling great, my face looks like a football and is turning a nice shade of yellow, I got stared at ALOT on the train as I kept dribbling, and making a funny sucky sound when I was trying not too...
The dentist was good, she just had a bit of trouble getting the back tooth out "you have really deep roots," she anounced as she put her knee on my chest for leverage (I'm kidding, but only just).
So now I have a throbbing head and face, every time I speak the kids say "whaaat, whaaat?" I just need to lay down for a while...
No salsa dancing for me tonight!

Oh, you have my sympathies... Just reading the words "deep roots" causes me to shudder...
but YAY for a nap and here's to a speedy recovery!

FEEL BETTER! There are few things worse than tooth pain--as far as physical pain goes. You have my sympathy too. I hope you can find some quiet and sleep!!

Hope you feel better soon! I have yet to make a visit to the dentist (I know, I know...my teeth will probably all fall out and I'll need dentures) and stories like this make me really really not want to go! :) Hopefully you got some good pain meds!

I've been there. Had 4 teethed pulled at once and woke up during one of the extractions. They had to put me back under and finish up. I drooled a lot but wasn't in pain because the meds ROCKED!

Dearest Sal,
Hope you are feeling a bit like your old self my friend now you are minus the two offending teeth!! I am also a founder member of the 'you have very deep roots /next time you will have to go into hospital to have a tooth out club!!!!!!'
