I don't know about you, but it makes me laugh when rich, famous, nanny hiring, celebs who employ enough staff to run a small country describe themselves as single mothers. It just doesn't pack the same punch for me.

Oh, you are SO right! When I was doing it alone, I would have been so grateful to have just one extra pair of hands. Even now, living with my fiance, I still do much of the parenting on my own because of his work schedule. But I still have a lot of help from him.
ReplyDeleteI think it's crazy to say that someone is a single parent when they have a house full of staff members to do the cooking, cleaning, nannying, scheduling, etc.
I have been a single mother and sometimes feel as though I still am...
