OMG, I have been attacked in the park, I had to run for my life, I was terrified. I was quietly walking through the park having a rare 30 minutes to myself as Deion was joining in his fun day...when I felt someone pinch my bottom. I turned round sharply to see a goose looking at me menacingly...it lurched, I screamed I ran, he ran, I screamed some more, ran some more, it was bloody horrible....

And not one person helped, while I was running wildly, arms flying, screaming at it, and making threats of catching, killing and cooking the f*****g bird if it didn't b****r off (I was trying to scare it with empty threats at this point), not one person attempted to grab it, throw something at it or rescue me.....

Plenty laughed though at my misfortune, by the time the bird given me a couple of sharp pecks on the ankles and lost interest, I thought I was going to have a heart attack, I don't do running....goodness, I need to get down the gym, and possibly buy and air rifle before I venture back in the park.

Good grief!

This reminds me of our ostrich! We used to raise them, and when I went up to feed and water them, they could sneak up behind me and 'nip' at my hair, my coat, anything that 'stuck' out! They HURT! We don't have them anymore!

I'm sorry you got chased. I hope you didn't step in any of their 'goo'.

    Oh, I'm sorry!
I was attacked by a killer goose many years ago; it chased me all the way to my car and bit at the door, which I shut just in time.
    Embarassing and scary.
Hope it didn't hurt too much!

So sorry, but the vision sounds really funny, I probably would have been laughing too. But sorry to hear that happened to you. Next time, you might need your anti-goose spray.

Oh Sally, im so sorry, but i am laughing loud and hard at your misfortune with the goose.

I have been there, done that with geese, and i don't know what it is about them, but they see me, and seem to target me.

I think they just see me as someone who won't be able to run too fast, or too long, and thing YEP....her backside is mine.

Sorry you went though that, but i have to admit, if i was in the park, i would have been useless to you, as i would have been rolling around laughing.

Hope your little goose bites are ok.

Holy hell!! Holy hell!! I am terrified of birds and that, right there what you described, would've ended with me having a heart attack and dying.

I wouldn't have helped you, either, cause of the fear and stuff but I would've yelled, from far away, "I'm calling 911" which may or may not have been effective since you live in the UK and maybe 911 doesn't exist there.
