a little off the top

Here is just about the maddest thing I've done so far to date for charity! And that's saying something considering I've flung myself out of cranes from a rather great height!!!

I went from having waist length hair to an almost bald head in one swift sweep of the clippers. A real GI Jane moment!

Certainly not a look that particularly suited me either.

But it was all in a good cause, it was to fund raise to send a very special little girl to Australia to swim with the dolphins and for her and her whole family to have a holiday of a life time. Her mum, nan and several friends all chopped their locks too.

Our only regret...it was winter, and freezing!!!

But we raised lots of money, and we donated our hair to 'wigs for kids' too, so it was all worth it.

The little girl got her dolphin swim, and benefited from it a great deal. Its another reason we're so passionate about the Charity, we've found a way to help kids with special needs. And if it means shaving our heads, throwing ourselves out of airplanes and generally making a show of ourselves, then so be it!!

Take care

Fantastic!!! You look great and you did such a marvelous thing for a special girl and her family.

Isn't it amazing that the world doesn't stop when someone's child is dying. Shouldn't it?

I don't know, i think when our son passed away, i wanted it to. i almost resented anyone for being happy and leading normal lives, it seemed inexplicable that life went on. but it didn't take us long to realise the beauty of life was still there, no matter what the heartache, i certainly wouldn't give up the fourteen years we had!
